    The production of an aluminum tumbler actually requires a complicated proces. And Trimming is the first step.

    An important step in the sophisticated decoration is the trimming to a predetermined wall length. When the body of aluminium cups leave the cold extrusion press they do not meet the requirements for lacquering and printing yet.

    For Trimming process on the automatic production line, the cup and tubes must resemble each other like peas in a pod. Be processed into suitable shapes in batches.Burr-free cutting brings them to the desired size, the trimmed wall length.

    Still, the aluminium looks rough and striated, but additional brushing of the cups removes the tiny bumps and creates a smooth surface-the best preparation for lacquering.
